Effie Collegiate Brand Challenge Open to Entries
Entries are now being accepted for the 2020-21 Effie Collegiate Brand Challenge, presented by Bose, according to a recent press release.
Modeled after the U.S. Effie Awards contest, Effie Collegiate engages tomorrow’s marketing leaders by offering an opportunity to research, create, and execute comprehensive marketing communications plans that tackle professional-level marketing challenges for established brands.
This year’s Brand Challenge with Bose will be the first Effie Collegiate competition offered for a full academic year. Students will have the opportunity to participate in either the Fall 2020 or the Spring 2021 semester contest.
For the 2020-21 competition, Bose will challenge student participants to develop an integrated holiday campaign to promote Bose’s headphone/earbud innovation, targeted at the Gen Z demographic of 18-24-year-olds.
To enter the Fall competition, entries must be received by the deadline of October 30, 2020. For the Spring semester contest, the entry deadline is April 1, 2021.
The Challenge is open to students who are currently enrolled full or part-time at accredited educational institutions, including undergraduate/graduate students, and those enrolled in portfolio programs and online courses. Submissions may be submitted by teams of two to four individuals.
Entries will be reviewed by a jury of industry professionals with diverse experience across client, agency, and media companies. Selected finalists will have the opportunity to present their work to senior members of the Bose brand team. Bose will award monetary prizes to the teams named First-Place ($3,000) and Runner-Up ($2,000).
